We pedalled past more fields and fruit stands, then the Missile Park at the Point Mugu Naval Base (only in the US?!?) and then we were back on highway 1, the Pacific Coast Highway, that we had left back at Big Sur. We made sure to suit up and head to the beach when we got to Leo Carillo State Park, where we were camping for the night, and the water was noticeably warmer. yet still refreshing!We met a few more cyclists at the hiker biker site, all who were also heading down the Baja, and revelled at how warm it was now that we had 'arrived' in southern California.Lue lisää
