A Walk in the Woods.

Today we drove north for an hour or so to Moultonborough. The drive to the area took us through the picturesque lakeside town of Meredith then we drove up a mountain to the Castle In The Clouds Conservation Area.

We saw beautiful views from the top of the mountain then went for a hike through the woods. We took the Brook Walk Trail. It takes you alongside a brook or creek. It takes you alongside a brook or creek and you pass 7 waterfalls. In spring after the snow melts there is a lot of water rushing down the creek so more impressive waterfalls than we saw. Summer has been drier than usual but we still thought the waterfalls were really pretty.Read more
