Day 50 - Alicante to Valencia

My journey up the south east coast of Spain presses on northbound. Home of the famous orange Valencia. And boy did I see 1000’s of trees. Like alongside the main highway coming into Valencia for I recon at least 10 Km - it was just all orange trees as far as the eye could see.
But let’s go back to Alicante where I spent most of the day. I was gutted when I found out that the tribute museum to the very famous around the world yacht race was closed on Mondays. I’ve had the same experience with galleries- don’t come Mondays.
So I visited the local castle atop the steep hill overlooking the city. It was OK - but not my preferred place to visit.
At 4 I caught another ALSA bus to Valencia - about 2.5 hours drive without a stop.
