Back into Croatia

Lovely sunny morning driving north westerly towards the boarder into Croatia. Rolling green fields with the occasional shepard with a flock of sheep. Then pine forrested hills and large stacks of tree logs. Small communities and scattered alpine style houses. Wonderful views and twisting roads. In the town of Bihac, a brief stop at a turbe or mausoleum which dates from the time of Austro Hungarian rule in Bosnia and was erected in memory of the defenders of the town who lost their lives fighting the Austro Hungarian troops.Read more
