Flight from Algiers to Djanet

A late-night flight south for around 2 hours brought us to Djanet, where we stayed overnight. This is the main town to access the Tassili n'Ajjer National Park region.
Tassili n'Ajjer is a vast plateau in southeastern Algeria at the borders of Libya, Niger, and Mali, covering an area of 72,000 sq km. There is an exceptional density of paintings and engravings, and the presence of many prehistoric vestiges, are remarkable testimony to Prehistory.En savoir plus
