Small Mermaid, Big Magic

Our day in Copenhagen, the Scandinavian design capital, was freezing cold but the Danish breakfast, the strong coffee and all the design furniture you could find throughout the city gave us just enough energy to survive 😅

Our tour brought us to royal places such as Rosenborg Castle Park and the royal palace Amalienborg, feeling very small... even the good looking guards absolutely ignored us.

The majestic Marble Church (Marmorkirken) impressed us not only with the biggest dome in Scandinavia, but also with being heated inside. We loved church visits over here!

Then came the moment most look forward to: meeting the Little Mermaid. She was small and surrounded by crazy tourists doing what we did too 😅

To recover, we sought refuge in Copenhagen’s cozy bars, where we discovered that one drink costs roughly the same as a small car back home. Still, the Danish design and the candle-lit vibes made everything feel a little bit magical.Read more
