Flying to Washington DC
September 5, 2017 in the United States ☀️ 30 °C
Yay! I have a 2 nights layover @ Washington!
Yves immediately wanted to join me so we could combine this with a short visit to Jeanne & Patrick in West-Virginia. We never went to Morgantown before, so this was our chance!!
Yves was the lucky bastard... he could enjoy business class all the way to US. For me... it was another day at work... so I was on duty for 8 hours... 😉Read more

Wow.... we made it!!!!
After an 8 hours flight and 4 hours drive, we finally made it to our last destination of the day.
Hello West-Virginia.
It's our very first time to be in West-Virginia!
So exciting!!! 😁

Our 4 hours drive was very scary though.
We were caught in a hail storm and heavy rains.
It was so bad we were on the brink of turning back. Fortunately the weather cleared and we made it to Morgantown!Read more

Pizza time at Morgantown
September 6, 2017 in the United States ⛅ 17 °C
It's time for lunch!
You can't make Yves any happier with homemade pizza! 😉 It was delicious and of course... we had the best company ever!
We also had a private sightseeing tour through Morgantown. We saw the university, tons of students blocking the road, walked around in target and Wallmart. Sin's favorite thing to do in other countries. Walking around in supermarkets... haha!
We bought maple syrup, foodie stuff, etc... yummm!!!Read more

Even we saw the Lincoln monument before, it's impressive every time you walk up the stairs and there he is!!! Amazing...
After this we had a nice breakfast and visited the free Washington zoo. It was a very nice morning. But at 2 pm it was time to go back to the airport and fly back home.
Yves could sleep.... but I was on duty and had to work all night. I was so tired! Haha

But so so thankful and happy we could experience Morgantown and the sunrise at DC! ❤Read more
