Well we made it. What an adventure . Seem so much, been supported by so many and had the a fantastic walking buddy to keep me going.

A great penultimate day. Even the cows couldn’t stop us. We chased them with dock leaves.
15.1 miles.
Not as sunny today and route not always so clear.
Still great views, except for the dumped rubbish.
17.2 miles
Two days left!
Brochs and abandoned villages where those forced out by the Highland clearances came to lived.
Tiny harbours once full of herring fleets and an amazing coastline .
15.9 miles.
Another stunning day.
Cows dozing on the beach, seals bobbing about and miles of coastline to ourselves.
After taking off sock and boots to ford a river that came on to the beach, we were met on theEn savoir plus
Fantastic day and we have now done 1001.5 miles.
End of day at Brora with a yummy ice cream and a sea view for the eve .
Only a small amount through woodland, the rest on roads.
Crossed the Dornoch Firth.
19.4 miles
Not the most exciting day but lovely lanes and the causeway to cross.
Interesting monument on top of the hill near Eventon.
18.6 miles.
At last we had our short day.(16.4miles).
Easy walk in woodland and then down to Inverness.
Nice walk by the river and then out of Inverness over the bridge.

Yesterday was stunning, with great views down Loch Ness.
