A cloudy day but no showers. Mainly flat although we did do a bit of the Quantocks. Another 18.5 miles done.

A day of criss-crossing the M5, new power lines to Hinkey Point, an Iron Age Camp and our first glimpse of the Severn Bridges.

Not much of a day for photos as the rain return. Finished the day in Hereford at Mary’s uncles with tea and cake. 22.5 miles. We’ve now done 300miles in total.🥳

So many things got in our way today but we overcame paths blocked by pigs, fallen trees broken bridges and steep slopes.
But the weather was better and another 19 miles slipped by.

A chilly start along the canal and then over Cannock Chase. Lack of signs and obstructive cows made the afternoon more of a challenge. 17 miles today.

We went through the picture postcard village of Tissington, along an abandoned railway (now part of the Pennine Bridle Way) and we’re once more picked up by Ollie.
