Lovely walking.
We went through the picture postcard village of Tissington, along an abandoned railway (now part of the Pennine Bridle Way) and we’re once more picked up by Ollie.
A very misty start but it soon cleared.
We walked by a river (Tame), a canal ( Huddersfield Narrow Canal) and an old railway line ( The Donkey line).
We finished in Denshaw. 18 miles today .
Another good day to walk. Dry and a bit of sunshine. We had moors and canals and a long climb up out of Todmorden to our pick up point. (Thanks Janet ) x
16.5 miles.
Very friendly donkeys to a lovely cafe in Gisburn for scrambled eggs. A super walk on the Ribble Way to Settle and a chance to see the converted water tower that appeared on Grand Designs
