To Bali!

Today is another travel day, but this one is a little different. After 6.5months in Australia I am leaving. I have 3.5 weeks in Bali scheduled!

My friend I met in Sydney has Easter off from her Au Pair role so we decided to do a little holiday together. For the next week, I will no longer be a solo traveller.

Check in the the flight took over an hour. We are having to fly Melbourne to Adelaide then to Denpassar. For some reason virgin was having a sale on connecting flights. So though it is taking longer we are getting it for far cheaper. Though not as cheap as I would like!

Moni and I managed to get our seats changed. We booked separately so were supposed to be apart but her host mum is a virgi platinum member and managed to upgrade Moni. Thanks to that the flight attendant moved me as well so we could be together. And not just together, in the premium extra leg room seats. It was glorious.

In Adelaide airport I got my usual muffin. This is my 4th time in the airport, and my 4th muffin. We had a fairly long layover which was less than ideal but we occupied ourselves with downloading asia specific apps and trying to get our Visas online (we were unsuccessful). Before boarding our second flight.

Moni was not upgraded on this one and I had the window seat already so did not want to. This means we are separate again but only for a little while. I was back to a normal seat and penned in rather tightly.

They do not provide food on this flight which sucks but I have an oat slice and shall be sleeping so do not mind so much.Baca lagi
