Ugh! Good reminder to check tires at every fuel stop!
The culprit...'screwed' in Baton Rouge!Luke...the man with the ramp and the kindness to stop and help after a long day of his own!

Day 4: Tyler, TX to New Orleans

    July 16, 2019 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 88 °F

Longest day on the road yet...420 miles! The hours were made just a bit longer by a flat tire in Baton Rouge. It would have been much longer had it not been for the generosity of Luke who just happened to work late and stop by the gas station for a 12-pack on the way home. He saw two little girls in camp chairs in the casino parking lot and stopped to offer some help. He even went home to grab a ramp he had to make the tire change possible. Thank you God for lining all this up for us!Read more
