Das Kehlsteinhaus aka The Eagles Nest

For our Summertrip 2016 we first went to the famous "The Eagles Nest" im Obersalzber. We drove with a bus on top of the mountain to the Eagles nest, which was Hitlers vacation home.
Being there we walked though the House and ate at the now Restaurant for German food.
Despite a lot of tourists the food was really good! The server was super friendly and all in one a great stay!
Back down the mountain we went to the museum where in 1939 stood Hitlers privat home the Obersalzberg (which the us Army bombed to dust in the late 1945 and the are was still theres till 1995) it was a great history lesson. The only minus point that they are getting from us is the lack of english translations at the museum. Besides that it is well made! Czytaj więcej
