    Bellingen

    August 9, 2020 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 17 °C

    Into Bellingen, an old town.
Wonderful Main Street with so many original buildings.
Daryl sent us to the oldest building...used to be Hardware, Groceries, Haberdashery ... you name it, they had it back then.
    Wonderful old shop, huge.
And magnificent old counters and old wooden staircase to the next floor up.
    Wonderful things sold here.
    Too many to contemplate.
Though Emily did buy a hat.
    A great hat... brown.
( I think she bought it because she left her black one in the car.)

On to the old cheese factory ....
    Wonderful wander around here.
Fantastic leather goods shop... wanted a pilots hat/cap/hoodie thing.
    ( Think Amelia Earhart )
Well no one else would have one on the beach!
    Thought better of it.

    Onto to Dorrigo.
    Windy road.
Going up and up through the trees.
And then it levelled out for the most beautiful, flat dairy country ... all onto of this high mountain. We drove through this for a while, to the lookout for a view of the Great Dividing Range.
    WOW!
    Just so majestic!
