Early walk, then paddling the creek!

Beautiful day.
24 degrees.
Creek was way too high to cross so we wandered by the turquoise water.

Emily did some work.
I washed the doona cover.
Then kayak and paddle board in tow, we headed for the Lake.
The tide was just starting to go out.
Had a wonderful time.

I paddled too close to the sea and got stuck in the kayak.
No matter how hard I paddled that tide was taking me out.
( I was in 9 inches of water)
I paddled and paddled.
Gave up.
Got out and towed the kayak to calmer water.
We paddled back into the Lake.
Had a bit of a lie down ( Emily )
More paddling.
Then back to camp.

Noodles for lunch.
Then I packed up the hammock.
And packed away the green sun shelter.
