Paris Pullman - Monday

Hotel offered some sort of free medical thing so two guys showed up to check on us. Other than checking our blood pressure and breathing, not much else. They called a doc. He showed up later and prescribed us some stuff like cortisone and antibiotics and tylenol and charged us $100 each. I don’t do to well with those medications so that’s another issue. Didn’t seem to want to prescribe Plaxovid due to potential side effects. Hotel said we had to stay in our room but doc said that wasn’t necessary. Just to wear our masks in crowded places. Gonna be a fun plane ride home. Now about 1pm and still haven’t eaten so may be time to venture out and get prescriptions and find something to eat. Guess we’re still going to fly home on Wed morning unless Janet or I get worse. I had hoped that maybe Covid had died down enough to chance a group trip, but I was wrong.
