Arrival in Sharm

So, we left turkey after having our residency renewal denied for a visa run and quick holiday. Though we left within the 10 day limit provided to us we still had to pay a fine, which was a bit more than we were expecting at 10,616TL ($353). The plus side is we were concerned we would need to stay out of turkey for 90 days and when we asked we found out there was no ban and our 5 night stay would be more than enough for us to re-enter turkey on new visas. When we arrived in Egypt we had a pleasant surprise though. Because our stay was less than 14 days we didn't need to buy a visa. Joe's Arabic once again proved handy in negotiating with a taxi driver. We checked into our hotel with no issues and are getting ready for bed so we can enjoy the day tomorrow.Leia mais
