Further investigation of the Baroque villages of the Ragusa region and Commissario Montelbano country, Scicli very closely tied to Montelbano as many of the scenes are filmed in this town (especially those involving the police station). To honour Andrea Camilleri the town has commissioned local artists to transform the seats in one of the important piazza’s. We were lucky enough to see one of the artists finishing her work.
