On Sunday, we visited Grasse, a town on the French Riviera, in the hills north of Cannes. It's known for its long-established perfume industry. Large perfumeries such as Fragonard, Molinard and Galimard sell their perfume at factory prices. Of course, I had to get a bottle. The young woman in the store was very helpful, helped me narrow down a selection, and then sniffed what they smelled like on me and pointed out which aromas were more prominent. LOL. The day we arrived, we were also on the last day of the rose festival. The town was jam-packed full of roses of every description.Read more
