Kinderfest

Today is Kinderfest in Giengen and the whole town has been celebrating all day. We were woken up at 6 am to canon fire to wake up the town. Followed by the band marching down the streets playing festival music as part of the wake up call. It was followed by a parade where groups of school children carry a tree branch with ribbons tied on it. They later then walk up the hill for music, games, and food. It has been an absolute blast and such a unique experience. Still trying to get the hang of the art of German drinking beer and coffee at the same time 😂Читать далее
