I arrived in Antofagasta! It was so great so see old friends and to meet new ones!

旅行者Buena Pregunta: It is winter here. Antofagasta is really far north of Santiago (Where it snowed). I am at the Tropic of Capricorn (if you want to look at latitude). In the day time it is between 16-19 degrees C. However, Antofagasta is in the desert and the temperature drops quickly, at night it is closer to 9 or 10 degrees Celsius. However, there is no heat inside buildings in Antofagasta (Santiago has some). Everyone wears a coat all of the time. In school, students will wear gloves and scarves. If it is sunny, you don't need a coat, but if it is cloudy, it is cold. Oh, and the weather itself never actually changes, only the amount of cloud cover. In Antofagasta it will not rain.
