Delphi to Cruitt Island

Terrie and I tried Irish oats this morning, porridge, cream and whiskey at Delphi Lodge.
A two hr drive to Sligo where our ancestor, Patrick Keighran, is from.
Beautiful ever-changing scenery from mountain to green to rugged coast.
Visited a cemetery in Sligo, looked at graves from around mid 1800s, many were unkept and illegible.
Drive another 2 hrs to Donegal Thatched cottages in a very remote stretch of Ireland's north west coast.
I would say this is the absolute essence of Ireland's beauty, wow !Read more
