A beautiful day

Today I took the skis out for the first time. Found a nice groomed trail that connects to this neighborhood. The sun here is different, almost white. And the blue of the sky fades to a white hew on the horizon. Such an interesting feeling being this far north. Tonight the lights were out and spanning the whole sky, mesmerizing. However it was hard to stay outside long as the temp was ~ -18F. Lots of strange noises outside when it is this cold many of which come from the trees I think.Leggi altro
