LAST DAY IN DC

Last day of aching feet, last day of germy metro, last day of figuring out how to get to our new sight for the day. We have had a great time, seen some incredible sights for 8 days, haven't even seen them all, but we are ready to leave this fabulous city! Today is Library of Congress and Archives. The Library of Congress is the most beautiful building inside..all marble, mosaics and sculptures. You could go inside the Reading Room if you get a pass to do research, or you can view it from above. We saw the original Declaration of Independence and Constitution at the Archives. The 2 buildings were too far to walk so we took a cab. We drove all the way to DC instead of taking the metro. It was a little shorter, but more stressful and expensive.Baca lagi
