Day 10 - Disneyland Paris

We had a bit of a sleep-in this morning before catching the hotel shuttle to Disneyland at 10:30 a.m. We arrived just in time to find a spot along Main Street and watch Disney Stars on Parade — the perfect way to start another day at the park.

Today was definitely all about the food — and since we wanted to try as much as possible, we shared everything. We started with Mickey waffles for breakfast, then had empanadas at Casa de Coco. We were actually there for the frozen margaritas, but unfortunately, they were no longer available so we had a beer. Next up was a Mickey pizza at Colonel Hathi’s Outpost. And finally Crepes (Nutella and Sugar) in Fantasyland. Of course, we couldn’t leave without Champagne on Main Street! We even kept the cork as a souvenir.

We also packed in more rides today. We made our way through Phantom Manor, Pirates of the Caribbean, Les Voyages de Pinocchio, Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast, The Land of Fairy Tales: miniature landscapes inspired by great literary works and legendary Disney classics, and It’s a Small World. We also took in The Lion King stage show, which was definitely a highlight.

By the end of the day, we decided we had packed in enough Disney magic and chose not to stay for the fireworks. Instead, we caught the shuttle back to the hotel around sunset.Read more
