Big Mertens Falls - Mitchell Falls Track

After a very hot an long section of the track along Mertens Creek, we arrived at another beautiful section of the trail. Big Mertens Falls is a spectacular deep and long gorge carved out by Mertens Creek. The rock pools above provided a place to stop and rest, admire the water lilly and some more rock art.

From here it was only a hop, skip and a jump to the end and a chance to view Mitchell Falls.Read more
