Ferry ride - farewell and welcome

Early start - again. Today we started at 6am to catch our ferry from Wellington to Picton. The ride was easy and smooth as the wind dropped - luckily. In Picton I saw my old hostel in which I planned my first long multi-day hike 22 years ago. Nice that some things remain as they are👍. With a local bus we went further to Nelson where we stay the next weeks - so don't be surprised if there are no continous footprints in the next day(s.😉.

Mal wieder früh raus. Heute um 06:00 um die Fähre nach Picton zu bekommen. Die Fahrt war einfach super und ohne große Wellen und Schaukelei - zum Glück hatten Wind und Regen nachgelassen. In Picton gibt es immer noch das Hostel von vor 22 Jahren in welchem ich meine erste Mehrtages-Wanderung geplant hatte - cool 👍! Mit dem Bus ging es dann nach Nelson. Hier sind wir erst einmal ein paar Wochen. Daher nicht wundern, wenn die Footprints "nachlassen". Es geht aber noch weiter 😉.Baca lagi
