The landscape outside of the villages was arid, so dry. Some of the vines were dying from lack of water as it has been a very hot season.

TravelerOur language does need more superlatives! WOW! Fabulous etc don't seem adequate! What an extraordinary place.
TravelerIt truly was! Definitely a highlight of our trip so far. I would love to spend a few days on the Island.
