Brisbane to Colombo

After a few days in Brisbane catching up with my sisters, Ruth and I are waiting at Brisbane airport for our flight to Sri Lanka via Singapore. We expect to land at 11.30pm their time - 3.30am Darwin time or 4am Qld time. We dodged the rain walking from Deb's place to the airport train but the computer system broke when we were trying to get through passport control and they had to ditch the machines and process us separately. Luckily we were in front of the huge Japanese group but it was still very slow with the computers spinning, spinning ..... We were just paged by Singapore Airlines because we hadn't checked in any luggage but we are only travelling with carry on. Can hardly wait to see what other challenges come our way 🤣Read more
