Sveti Klement - The Dane's Lagoon

According to the legend, a danish sailor came by Sveti Klement several years ago and fell in love with a very beautiful girl, the fisherman's daughter. The Dane decided to make that place his new home and together with his new wife created a piece of paradise on earth and opened a cute little island getaway with a top-of-the-class restaurant and small huts for guests called The Fisherman's House. The crew shares an absolutely amazing fish-pot "Brodetto a la Tonči" served with locally made wine from the islands vineyards. The wine we get is made of the mother-grape of the famous Crljenak kaštelanski, otherwise known as Zinfandel or Primitivo, the most famous indigenous Croatian wine in the world.
