Silver Muse Day 9 - Hubbard Glacier

Today was a special day. Not only were we sailing to the Hubbard Glacier but it was Jim’s birthday! Our butler surprised us with balloons and a special bottle of champagne but he was outdone by a gift Jim got from Kevin, Cody and Kaeli; a fabulous bottle of wine and an all expenses paid trip to San Diego to see the World Lacrosse Championship! You would think the day couldn’t get better but then we cruised to and around the Hubbard Glacier. This was the definitely the coldest day of the trip (the icy glacier might have had something to do with the temperature 🤪) and there was quite a bit of fog but just as we got close the fog started to lift we got some great pictures. Each cruise ship only spends about 30 minutes at the glacier and then we departed for our last port of Seward.Les mer
