London to ParisJune 3, 2017 in France
Wow. What a busy start to the tour.
Have to admit when we first drove in it was confronting to see the number of homeless people and refugees walking up to the cars on the highway.
After dropping our bags we headed out for a drive around Paris. We saw the Eiffel Tower which was beautiful despite the rain and drove down the Champ de Elysse the main street in Paris where there's a committee who decides which shops can open along there. The Louis Vutton store has a dress code and apparently the cheapest thing there id a hankerchirf for over $100AUD!
Dinner was a picnic by the eiffel tower. I tried snails and frog legs and the latter just tasted like chicken.
We're staying at the Ibis Hotel near the Gare del Est train station.Read more
