Warwick

Spent last night at Mark's place.
Chris & Mark turned up last night so we can head off a bit earlier today.
Chelmer

Stopped at the native wells & saw a few birds.
Had a lovely tea with Wendy & Jeff.
Breakfast was at the river in St George.
Filled up in Cunamulla averaging 14.04ltrs per 100 kms.
Mud Springs

Called in here to give Chris & Mark a look, then turned back to the Hungerford turnoff.
Corni Paroo Campsite

We called into the Mud Springs as Mark & Chris hadn't been there, then turned back to take the Hungerford turnoff.

Smoko stop here.
The flood waters from the Paroo arrived just as we did! Very exciting for everyone.
Sturt National Park

Staying at Fort Grey for one night.
Had a good trip here, though the road was a little rough in patches.
Had lunch in Tibooburra at 2.30. Got to Fort Grey around 4.45pm.

Stopped to take a photo. Nearly got blown away. Took a photo from inside the car.....

The Bubbler, a bit drier than last time but still a few small bubbles happening.

Battersby Hill first up then off to the station to stay for two nights. Hills are best at sunrise I feel.
Back on the Stuart Highway and bitumen. First real bit since Eulo.
NT/SA Border

Staying here for the night after a great day.
Had a very tasty rump steak for tea. It was one from home that I had cyrovaced.

A night stop over.
We stopped at Lasseter's Cave for lunch, Then crossed over into WA, where we are allowed to camp. There was no camping allowed on the NT section of the Great Central Road.

Nice little camp spot off the road in with the camels.

A & B have gone on ahead to Kalgoolie. We have decided not to head there. Plan on meeting up again on the Canning.
Some Interesting things people have done here to decorate the place!!
