Nights camp waiting for A&B to catch up. They headed off to Kalgoolie to get a sat phone and to vote. We decided it was cheaper to not vote than to travel that far.

Decided it was too far to get to Durba Spring today, as you have to be off the roads by 4.30. Lots of sand dunes today. Mark stopped on one and stayed stopped!!

This creek runs into Lake Disappointment, well Mal was disappointed but not as much as he was when he went to scoop up some water from Savoury Creek and started to sink.

Decided to stop on a clay pan for the night.
We left A&B & Mark behind and headed for Newman the next morning to get new back shockie. One of ours has a bent shaft & still rubbing a little bit.

When Mal went to put them on, he found one box didn't have any rubbers in it so had to go back again to collect them.

Found 60 crashed cars on the Jigalong Rd before the turnoff. (63 kms).

We are back with the team today.
Called in to Panngurr on the way back. Had a camel put his head in Mal's window.
Fuel was $3.16 per litre, luckily we only need 56 litres.

Had a busy morning as Mark's diesel tank has a leak.... the boys worked on it till about 11.30 then we headed off as the tank is too full!!

Stopped for water & smoko. Had a few tough sand dunes this morning. Bruce had two goes to get up & Mark had three. We shovelled the dune so Mark could get up.

Found some great rocks. Mark found a beautiful fossilized shell in really dark shiny rock.
