What a busy day!! We came up some tracks that haven't been used for quite a while.

Spending a few days with Angie & Brian while doing some birding.
Decided to go over to Rottnest Island for the day, hopefully get some sea birds.

Caught the ferry over and did the hop on hop off bus.
Great day but a bit light on in the bird department, however we did see quite a few Quokkas.

Left Angie & Brian this morning after a lovely stay. Went up to Wireless Hill & got a Western Wattlebird.
Had a great time birding at Alfred Cove. Nothing new but better photos and a rail withBaca lagi

Wow what an Island. Everything is breeding so there are small gulls, terns & pelicans all over the place.
We had two dolphins entertaining us while we waited for the ferry.

Stopped in and did a tour of Lake Cave. Awesome cave, only 1.5 million years old so quite a new cave. Had a floating table that was hanging from the ceiling. Estimated weight was about 5Baca lagi

We picked up an injured Wester Rosella and dropped it off at the vets.
It was being packed by a Magpie. The vet didn't think it would survive, sadly.
