    Had to come straight here so I could catch a flight to Perth then to Brisbane as Arthur isn't doing to well. Diane rang this morning to let me know.

    Mal has found a cosy camp at Cosy Corner.
    Also got a mobile phone in Albany!!!!

    Arthur passed away early Saturday morning. I stayed at Diane's house the rest of the night then we went over to see her Mum. After that she dropped my at Jen's house. Got some sleep last night then borrowed Matt's car and headed home for two nights. Have a burst water pipe in our front yard so no town water for the toilets!! Lucky they invented buckets.
    Evie & Talion made me lunch today.
    Jessie's mum passed away on Monday. So will stay a bit longer.    Baca lagi

    Back with my darling. Had a big day yesterday. Woke up at 5.30am, left home at 8am, drove to Jenny's and left Matt's car there, then caught an Uber to the airport. Flight to Perth was fairly rough even though we were flying at a much lower height than going over. They had to stop handing out the lunches and resume about an hour later. It was too rough for tea & coffee so I had wine instead!!! Ended up being about half an hour late. Still had plenty of time to get to the other airport and that plane was half an hour late as well. Finally got to Albany at 11pm Qld time.
    We will spend two nights at this beautiful spot.
    Saw dolphins, rabbits, a snake and a few birds.    Baca lagi

    Wow what Interesting weather. From fairly chilly yesterday to 34 deg today then down to 23 tomorrow.....
    We spent the morning in the National Park and got some great close up shots of the Rufous Treecreepers & a Rock Parrot!!
    Tomorrow we will head over to the Castle Rock. Have booked in for three nights.    Baca lagi

    Western Bristlebird, Western Whipbird, and the Noisy Scrub-bird.

    Really enjoyed being here. Such a great spot and really nice weather. It was 40 deg at Stirling Ranges and 19 deg here!!
    Walked over 40 kms this week on sandy tracks. Need to go somewhere to rest....    Baca lagi

    Little Beach

    Drove along the beach to get here from East Bay campsite.
    Stayed the night at Betty's Beach. Had rain on and off during the night and morning.
    A van had trouble getting up the hill towing his trailer, after three goes he unhooked it and a Nissan Patrol tried to get it up. They had three goes as well with no luck. We decided to hightail it out of there before the road got too cut up. Have to get back to Albany for Mal's doctors appointment.Baca lagi

    Lake Magenta Nature Reserve

    We were heading for a water hole but the road doesn't go through now. So we will stop here for the night.
    Found our way across the lake, even though there was a sign saying the road was closed! Got to the other side and found out it was closed as dog traps had been laid there. Luckily I didn't get caught in one while I was wandering around in the bush looking for birds...….Baca lagi

    Actually got better Regent Parrot photos today.
    Spent some time at the Mallee Fowl center.

    Four Mile Beach

    Two nights here. Called in at Ravensthorpe to check I had removed all of Mal's stiches. I had apparently, what I thought was a stitch was dried blood....
    A great campsite with a hot shower!!
    Did a day trip over Hamersley Inlet & Cave Point. Got great shots of a Western Fieldwren at the Cave, then saw an active Malleefowl nest at Hamersley!!Baca lagi

    Washing & shopping, as well as a bit of sight seeing. Went to the wetlands, great spot and a nice walk around the lakes. Mal dropped me at one end and picked me up at the other.
