Sud Lípez – Jour 3

Départ à 7h30 pour traverser le redouté Désert de Siloli, l’un des plus arides au monde. Verdict ? Pas une goutte d’eau, mais des rochers en forme de sculptures modernes. La star : l’Arbre de pierre. Oui, un arbre… sans feuilles, sans branches, bref un arbre en grès (l’ombre en moins).

Puis cap sur la fameuse Route des Joyaux 💎 : une série de lagunes aux couleurs incroyables – Honda, Chiarkhota, Hedionda et Cañapa. Entre deux “oooh” et “aaah”.

On continue jusqu’au mirador du Volcan Ollagüe (5 865 m), encore actif, avec ses petites fumerolles comme pour rappeler qu’il boude toujours.

Traversée ensuite du Salar de Chiguana, un désert de sel qui fait figure de “mini Uyuni”… échauffement avant le grand final.

Et enfin… le Salar d’Uyuni 🤍. Immensité blanche, horizon sans fin, coucher de soleil magique accompagné d’un verre de vin. Gilda confirmée : c’est bien l’apéro le plus spectaculaire de toute la planète.

Nuit à Atullcha, des étoiles plein les yeux (et un peu de sel dans les pattes).

Wake-up call at 7:30 AM for the mighty Siloli Desert – one of the driest places on Earth. Not a drop of water in sight, but plenty of bizarre rock formations. Star of the show: the famous Stone Tree. Spoiler: it doesn’t give shade, fruit, or oxygen. Just… stone.

Then, the dazzling Route of the Jewels 💎: a chain of stunning lagoons – Honda, Chiarkhota, Hedionda, and Cañapa. All sparkling with minerals, each prettier than the last.

Next stop: Ollagüe Volcano (5,865 m), still active, puffing smoke like an annoyed dragon in the distance.

We then cross the Salar de Chiguana, a “mini Uyuni,” just to warm up before the grand finale.

And then… the legendary Salar de Uyuni 🤍. An endless white horizon, a surreal sunset, and a glass of wine to top it off. Probably the most epic happy hour in the universe.
