Bangkok (Jour2)

Je commence par le Wat Arun, installé au bord du fleuve Chao Phraya. Surnommé le Temple de l’Aube, il est célèbre pour sa grande tour centrale décorée de porcelaines et de coquillages. Même en pleine journée, le temple est magnifique. La lumière se reflète sur la céramique et donne au lieu un charme presque irréel.

Je poursuis avec The Golden Mount, au Wat Saket. Une colline artificielle surmontée d’un stupa doré, accessible après quelques centaines de marches. La vue panoramique sur Bangkok en vaut largement la peine. Un rare moment où la ville semble presque calme.

Pour finir la journée, direction Chinatown à la tombée de la nuit. Néons, de stands de street food et de foules affamées.

I start at Wat Arun, located along the Chao Phraya River. Known as the Temple of Dawn, it’s famous for its central tower decorated with porcelain and seashells. Even during the day, the temple is stunning. The light reflecting on the ceramics gives it an almost unreal beauty.

Next stop is The Golden Mount at Wat Saket.
An artificial hill topped with a golden stupa, reached by climbing several hundred steps.
The panoramic view over Bangkok is totally worth it. One of the rare moments when the city feels peaceful.

To end the day, I head to Chinatown at night.
The area lights up with neon signs, street food stalls, and hungry crowds.Okumaya devam et
