First day in Paris

We arrived around noon after an overnight flight and almost zero sleep but we were determined to keep going. Checked into our small hotel (lovely staff and clean albeit small rooms) and then headed out to explore the city. Wandered the streets, saw some gorgeous old buildings and salivating worthy bakeries before we stopped for a pot of mussels and coffee. There's a store near our hotel that is a stand alone foie gras shop! Wandered lots more and then the final stop was at Hugo's (under the apartment of Victor Hugo) for some amazing ice cream.
