My first camping in Canada - Arrowhead Provincial Park, East Side River Campground

Campsite #286
Day 1: Campsites are spacious and private at East River Campground, but there are way too many mosquitoes and black flies in June. After we set up our canopy and small tent, we decided to drive to downtown Huntsville to get a screened room. I got 6 bites from black flies on my face already. They all started to swell up in the evening. Rained a bit and weather was cool, around 15-19 degree.Read more

Day 3: Rearranged our tent because weather forecast showed lightening, a few showers and risk of thunderstorms. We went to Huntsville to look at some air mattresses because our current one is losing air. We saw a painting on the wall while driving through the town, which was done by Group of Seven artists.Read more
