Hill of crosses

Our challenge of the day took us to the Hill of Crosses near the Lithuanian city of Siauliai.
The actual origin of the place is unknown but in the younger history (especially in the 20th Century) the crosses were erected to remember the victims of war and tyranny. During the Cold War the place was destroyed multiple times by order.
Obviously we had to contribute our homemade cross and got a wish in return.Читать далее
