Day 1.. Heathrow to Brussels

This morning I left Heathrow Terminal 5 for Brussels. I got to Heathrow quite early and had a message of a delay because of the crazy fog so found the lounge where I ate and drank galore and it was fabulous. Then because business I boarded first where then I had an avocado and feta salad and choc pud lol.
Found my transport easily, got here a short while ago to my boutique hotel and the bedroom and hotel are both lush!!!
Charging phone a bit and then heading out to find the market on The Grand Place xxxBaca lagi

Evening day 1. First exploration xxx

Well I've just walked a looonnnngggg way! Finally found the light display...my sense of direction is quite awful 🤣.
Maybe one of the best ones yet and I've been to a few now 🌌🎄🎅.
It's been a lovely few hours out, extremely busy, the Belgian's seem nice people so far lol oh and I had some nice 'frites'
May watch a film or something now after a shower and then bed.
I have a historical tour in the morning...if I find the meeting point??!! XxxBaca lagi

Day 2 in Brussels

Day 2. Part 1. Had a great tour around Brussels today, history around the Grand Place, town hall, Cathedral, Palace, tried some chocolates and had a waffle, really gd guide, saw the manneken pis (little boy statue as it states, having a piss 🤣) he has many outfits depending on the time of year, who may be visiting, even once hockey outfit and there is even someone who sometimes dresses him behind a curtain then he's revealed, he's also been stolen quite a few times.
As the guide Clements said..people are so relaxed in Belgium and can just make fun outta everything xxxBaca lagi

Day 2. Evening wonder to a market xx

Day 2. Part 2. Well I was knackered from all the walking this morning, came back to hotel for a rest, fell asleep for about half HR and thought I can't be arsed to go out...
But I gave myself a kick and went and found a Christmas market and then had another waffle and mulled wine and now feel like I've had far too much sugar 🤣.
Back at the hotel now, I've got a taxi coming for 8 in the morning as have a tour and don't fancy walking and getting lost trying to find the place so early...I'm off to Bruges and Ghent on a coach tour..how exciting xxxBaca lagi

Day 3. More pics of beautiful Bruges xx

Day 3 Belgium. A day trip by coach to lovely Bruges, the day started very wet so was worried but we couldn't have asked for better weather although quite cold.
It's very pretty, lots of lovely shops, for a girl who loves to shop it's lovely for nik naks and souvenirs, chocolate shops, tea rooms. Then there was the market and then high street shops too..there's everything all near eachother so it's great to walk around for hours lol.
I even did a boat trip too, crazy captain very funny...now I'm knackered, great the coach stopped 4 minutes away from my hotel wahooooo xxxBaca lagi

Giant hotdog in Bruges

Today I am having a wonder in Bruges..the sun is out ☀️ and I'm at the Christmas market with my giant sausage. Sure beats being at work, I'm really happy I can travel and have these experiences xxx
