Day 17 Singapore

A shopping day in Singapore. We headed for Orchard Road, and specifically the Uniqlo shop. It was massive and cheap! We spent a couple of hours shopping and were making our way back to the hotel when we could find no wifi to sort a taxi and there was a heavy shower of rain which we were caught in with our paper showing bags! Not good. Finally sorted a taxi and were relieved to get back to the Clarke Quay for a snack and a drink. We crossed the river to the hotel where David had a swim and I had a rest! We later had a lovely drink in the bar before making our way to China Town for a dinner of Peking Duck. It was a short walk back and we discussed plans for tomorrow’s departure over one final Singapore Sling and beer.Read more
