Amsterdam

After a brilliant run of weather with only a few spots of rain in Copenhagen today dawned cloudy and cold. We all formed up at 10 am and walked into the heart of the city. It rained on and off and there was even a little hail but nothing to detract from the walk. Amsterdam didn't really grab us this time around having been here in the summer of 2015 after our Rhine River cruise. We saw the Royal Palace and Anne Frank's house and in the afternoon took a canal cruise. We were left to our own devices for the evening so had a very nice Nasi Goring at an Indonesian restaurant with Russ, Heather and Suzanne before retiring for the night. Looking forward to boarding our ship tomorrow for our Norwegian cruise.Read more
