April 28 St Ives

Gaye woke feeling a bit better and the sun was shining so we headed back down the hill for a better look around the town. I think we walked every street in St Ives and all around the headland. I walked up to the top of the headland to Saint Nicholas's chapel which offered a great view over the town.

We then wandered into town for a coffee and later a beer and lunch sitting outside at a restaurant on the foreshore. The sun was surprisingly warm.

After lunch we checked out the shops and bought some supplies but were mindful that we would have to lug everything back up the hill to the camp.

Back at the camp we had a walk around the camp and along the clifftop before having a couple of hours relaxing and an early night.Read more
