Ankunft in Bangkok

🇩🇪 Und da bin ich in Bangkok angekommen. Am Flughafen selbst ging alles recht zügig. Die Grenzkontrolle hat nicht lange gedauert und selbst unsere Koffer wren mit als erstes da. Ich hatte mir vorher schon die Möglichkeit nach einer eSim auf Thailand angeschaut. Über eine App die ich dafür benutzt (heißt Airalo) kann ich mir zwei Wochen unbegrenztes Datenvolumen und theoretisch auch Telefonie für €15 kaufen, was ich dann auch direkt noch am Flughafen gemacht habe. Es ist mal wieder ganz praktisch überall Internet zu haben. Vom Flughafen fährt natürlich öffentlicher Nahverkehr in die Stadt, jedoch ist auch in Bangkok Taxifahren nicht all zu teuer und wir sind die 45 müntige Autofahrt dann doch mit dem lokalen Uber namens Grab für umgerechnet €10 angetreten.

🇺🇸 And here I am in Bangkok. Everything at the airport went quite smoothly. The border control didn't take long, and even our luggage was among the first to arrive. I had already looked into the possibility of getting an eSIM for Thailand. Using an app called Airalo, I was able to purchase two weeks of unlimited data and theoretically also telephony for €15, which I did right at the airport.
