Behandlungen vor der Abreise

Der letzte Tag gestaltete sich besonders stressig. Nach etwa sechs Stunden Schlaf stand ich um 7:30 Uhr auf, um noch schnell eine Waschmaschine im Hotel zu starten und meine letzte schmutzige Wäsche vor der Abreise zu reinigen. Während die Wäsche lief, faltete ich die Wäsche vom Vortag und begann, meinen Koffer zu packen. Noch bevor die Wäsche fertig war, hatte ich bereits alles andere verpackt und einige Aufgaben am Laptop erledigt.

Danach checkte ich aus dem Hotel aus und durfte meinen Koffer dort lassen. Dann begann der eigentliche Marathon: Ich wollte mir noch eine Maniküre und Pediküre gönnen. Der erste Salon, den ich aufsuchte, hatte geschlossen; der zweite bot nur Lackierungen an. Erst im dritten Salon wurde ich fündig und bekam die gewünschte Behandlung. Anschließend suchte ich einen Barbier in der Nähe auf, den ich über Google gefunden hatte und bekam sofort einen Termin. Danach ging ich noch zum Waxing, was wie beim letzten Mal leider nicht sehr angenehm war. Mein Vormittag bis Nachmittag war somit vollgepackt mit fünf verschiedenen Terminen, und ich konnte mich erst am Nachmittag wieder meiner Arbeit widmen, bis es Zeit für die Abreise war.

🇺🇸 The last day turned out to be particularly stressful. After about six hours of sleep, I got up at 7:30 AM to quickly start a washing machine in the hotel and clean my last batch of dirty laundry before departure. While the laundry was washing, I folded the laundry from the previous day and started packing my suitcase. I had everything else packed and some tasks on my laptop completed even before the laundry was done.

Afterwards, I checked out of the hotel but was allowed to leave my suitcase there. Then the real marathon began: I wanted to treat myself to a manicure and pedicure. The first salon I visited was closed; the second only offered nail painting. It was only at the third salon that I found what I was looking for and got my nails done. Next, I went to a nearby barber I had found on Google and got an appointment right away. After that, I went for waxing, which, like the last time, was unfortunately not very enjoyable. My morning to afternoon was thus packed with five different appointments, and I could only return to my work in the afternoon until it was time to leave.Read more
