• Under way again, Island Harbour to Colwell Bay

    After quite a lot of work fixing the autopilot and generally faffing about, we decided that today was the day we would head off again, with the plan to head east still. Looking at the weather and wind predictions, we turned our plan on its head and at 1600 we departed from Island Harbour, bimbled down the river and picked up the west going tidal stream. Yes folks, we have done a Starmer. We are heading west-about instead. Still, we got to vote which is a good and honourable thing to do.
    Currently at anchor in Colwell Bay and have had a superb meal onboard, cooked by my amazing mate. Early doors tomorrow to catch as much of the westbound tidal stream and we are aiming for Portland.
