Friday 22 May, Dale Bay to MH Marina.

1000 Slipped (bit of a late start) and made the 5.5 mile run in to arrive during freeflow. Milford Fish Docks and Marina has a good, large lock with floating pontoons each side (not that we used them, but good for our exit in a couple of days or so.
The reason for using the marina was that we needed to do some food shopping (well, that was our excuse…..) Tesco’s an easy walk from the marina, probably less than 1000 yards. Food procured and stored, we nipped around the marina to the office to check in. On way back, found a nice bar with friendly people, and didn’t get back to WIGHT MISTRESS about 2030 had apple/pear and cheese and hit the sack.Read more
