Thursday 9 July, Quiet time in Lochaline

Wandered up to the shop for some victuals and generally chilled out. Next thing, Sue and Stu (RNSA members) announced an impromptu, pop up, byo BBQ across the loch on the beach. So off we went. Lovely time with lovely people. Dinghy loaded up with Cobb BBQ, gas torch, victuals, liquid sustenance and folding furniture and Amelia Airhead, Steve’s drone. This, the first of 3 BBQs, was when Steve realised that the cooking plate for the Cobb was missing (doooohhhhh!!!!) but only noticed AFTER having flashed the thing up, thus wasting our last Cobblestone! Hey ho. Fortunately Nick and Tracey were far better organised so we still got to eat hot dead animals.
